| Sunday, May 30, 2004 - 04:49 pm Hey, im Chip from Franconia Skating Center in Fairfax Virginia. Im only 16, but have been skating for around 8 years, just getting into actually skating, and jam skating. Im picking up things pretty fast, but it's limited here because we dont have too many skaters that are good, so i end up variating everything. Im looking for new stuff to learn also. I can currently "Drop the Bomb" forwards and backwards, and always variating the steps up to it, and putting in a drop spin at the end. I can two step, backwards, normal patterns, variations on normal patterns adding what feels right. Please let me know if you can think up anything else. Thx.

Also u can look at national videos on sk8vidz.com which features doubles singles and teams competition! The next nationals will be held by WSA (world skating association) which is ran by Chuck Best. This nationals will be at Sparkles of Hiram, Georgia....It is July 9th through the 11th! Hope u can try to make it and maybe compete!

| Sunday, November 14, 2004 - 06:32 am Hey, for anyine in the ny, nj, pa, area... at the Kendal Park roller rink in Kendall Park nj, we're trying to get a jam skate night started for shuffel/jam skaters. starting tonight, we've been told that if we can draw 20 people or more, the owner will extend the session 2 more hours for free...Sunday nights from 730pm to midnight... all good skating music,(freestyle, funk, disco,old school club, house) and a decent size floor, and a good skating atmosphere... check it out, we need to get this going. it'll be great!! and betst of all the session will be run by me and a few friends... and they are alll skaters, so we will make sure that it's a session for skaters. | Friday, July 01, 2005 - 02:52 pm I went to the Lima Ohio Jam Skate Nationals. This new style of Jaming is not new. If I was young again and could still jump and spin, I could put together an old crazy leg performance that could win it all. I am asking the freestylers to get into the act and put real fear into the Jamers as well as weed out the stupid moves that cause injurys as well as increase insurance cost. A few well jumps and control spins and a little style and maybe the better skaters would step forward and win it all.
